A luminous red vertical bar at the center confronts a darker surrounding zone, while the transitional area between both fields creates a vibrating optical tension.

The so-called middle color shifts in appearance depending on its neighboring tones: the bright core seems intensified and almost floating, while the darker perimeter establishes depth and visual concentration.
Through this precise chromatic balance, the work achieves a calm, contemplative presence despite the powerful intensity of red.
